Roger Hiorns: SEIZURE

  • Dec. 20th, 2009 at 8:52 PM
Model: Libby
Hair & Light: Blaze
Location: http://www.artangel.org.uk/projects/2008/seizure

Found this location by accident and my what a find. Introducing the beautiful [info]spangle_kitten , together with Blaze, made our way to this council flat which has been ear-marked for demolition early Jan. Nothing can quite prepare one for the surprise when entering this strange world.

Seizure is a sort of sci-fi nightmare in Southwark, we tried to capture both the beauty of the crystals along with the madness of this art piece by Roger Hiorns.

Thanks to Blaze and SpangleKitten for braving the freezing cold to do this set.

I miss summer storms.

Last July.
I thought someone had left the sing running until I went into the kitchen and saw out the window.
It rained for hours, I loved every minute.

Me

Sorry it's a little late.

One of the commenters mentioned the lighting. Nothing complicated here: a single flash firing through a 46" softliterII (umbrella softbox) about 2 feet in front of my face.
