So my little boy Kory and I are on an adventure. We drove to Georgia and stayed with my brother for a couple weeks. Then we drove to the Hampton's and are now staying with my sister. The drive was very crappy and took forever. I still can't believe I did this. I'm not looking forward to the drive home.

It is very lovely up here, but it's so freaking cold. I thought I loved the cold weather, but I've been away from it for so long, I didn't remember how bad it was! I guess it's different when you're a little kid. I just wanted to see snow again, and play in it, and have Kory see it for the first time. It hasn't snowed yet, but we're expecting a blizzard tonight or tomorrow! Sheesh. Kory loves the cold weather. I knew he would, he's got a double coat of fur and loves it when the wind blows. Me? Not so much. Last night with the wind chill it was 7 degrees. Kory stands there loving it, meanwhile my nose is frozen, my bones are cold, and the cold air hurts my asthmatic lungs!

It has been nice to get away. And when I go home, I will be a mommy again. The breeders that I met said the babies (snakes) will be ready to go sometime in either January or February. I did fall in love with a beautiful Columbian red tail boa in Georgia. I was going to get her on the way home from New York, but she was gone before I even left Georgia. Guess it wasn't meant to be.
